We look forward to the first day of school on Friday, August 21st. School starts at 8:05am and ends at 3:20pm. (Please do not drop off students prior to 7:45am) Due to construction at the middle school, we ask that all students wait at their grade level doors upon arrival. We will have staff members at each door. The front door will not be accessible.
Locations are as follows:
6th Grade - east side of school
7th Grade - southeast side of school
8th Grade - south side of school
Parking Lot & Traffic Flow:
The parking lot has the potential to become crowded and backed up on the first day of school. Please be patient and follow directions provided by our security officer. Most importantly, please keep our student’s safety as the priority. We appreciate your patience and kindness.
Schedules:
All schedules will be printed and available for students on the first day. We will help students throughout the day to fill in missing room numbers and to navigate their way to classrooms. Staff members will be available in the hallways to answer questions and offer guidance.
Technology:
If your student has not picked up their device for the school year, we will call grade levels down throughout the school day to retrieve computers from the Media Center. Please make sure that your student’s technology fee has been paid (online or check).
Lockers:
Opening lockers can be stressful and confusing at the beginning of the year, but we are here to help! Locker numbers and combinations can be found at the top of each student schedule. Staff can help to locate lockers and to access them. If a student does not know their locker number, that information can be provided at the front office.
