Sources of Strength 2024

Dozens of Manitou Springs Middle School students are learning about Sources of Strength. There are eight sections of the Sources of Strength wheel: physical health, mental health, family support, positive friends, mentors, healthy activities, generosity, and spirituality.

State Testing - CMAS
The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) assessments are given in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts and Math. In grades 5, 8, and 11 students are also assessed in science. These assessments are scheduled for April 8th – 18th.

Building Resilience for Healthy Kids
District 14 is thrilled to inform you that Manitou Middle School is participating in a program called Building Resilience for Healthy Kids. This exciting program is created to cultivate, inspire, and research resilience in our children so they grow up with the capacity to navigate adversity, recover from setbacks and adapt well to change.
